Eric McCarthy

Eric joined RBHF as an articling student in the summer of 2025, assisting primarily in the areas of Wills and Estate Planning, Estate Administration, Corporate Law, and Real Estate Law. Eric graduated from the University of Windsor, Faculty of Law in 2025, before returning to his hometown of Kingston to begin his legal career.

While at Windsor, Eric was the recipient of the Samia Rose Shaheen Memorial Award in Legal Writing, the Max N. Mousseau, Q.C. Memorial Award in Municipal Law, and represented the University of Windsor at the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition. Eric previously received his BSc Political Science with honours from the University of Amsterdam, in the Netherlands, specializing in International Relations.

Outside the office, you can find Eric at the gym or at the tennis courts.
