Ningjing (Natalie) Zhang

Natalie joined RBHF as a law student in the summer of 2022 and returned as an articling student in the summer of 2023.
Born and raised in Shanghai, China, Natalie moved to Kingston in 2016. She obtained her B.A.(Hons.) and Ph.D. from Fudan University, China and her M.A. and J.D. from Queen’s University. Natalie has participated in various events/campaigns concerning justice for marginalized groups during her time in Canada. She received Aird & Berlis Equality Award from the Women’s Law Society of Ontario (WLAO) in 2021 and the FLA Award from the Frontenac Law Association in 2023.
Natalie has strong ties to Kingston and was happy to make it her hometown in Canada. She is fluent in Chinese.

When she is not working, Natalie can be found spending time with her family and friends at some of Kingston’s best local spots.
