Before the allure of the Limestone City beckoned, Laura spent several years studying and living in London, UK. She was called to the bar in 2016 and practised with a full-service firm in the Greater Toronto Area, prior to joining Ryder-Burbidge Hurley Foster in 2017.

At RBHF, Laura’s practice focuses on civil litigation, estate litigation, and Real Estate. Her broad civil practice includes employment law, construction litigation, disability benefits disputes, and personal injury claims.
Laura earned her law degree (LL.B), as well as her Master of Arts in International Politics and Human Rights, from the City University of London. Her undergraduate disciplines were focused on Biology and Psychology. Laura is also fluent in German and conversational French; she continues to improve upon her French skills and has a passion for languages. Laura draws from her diverse work and educational experiences to help assist her clients in a wide range of legal matters.

Laura is passionate about community outreach and has volunteered internationally throughout her career. She is a member of the Frontenac Law Association, the Toronto Lawyers Association and Young Women in Law. She currently serves as a member of the Frontenac Law Association’s Technology Committee.
In her spare time, Laura enjoys travelling, snowboarding, playing tennis and spending time with friends and family. She is also an animal lover and supports local animal charities and rescue organizations.
